Another missed opportunity to beat wenger’s lot in the league.
When eboo boy was sent off I smelt blood but we just couldn’t get it done. Keano looked
lively as ever and Palacios was superb in the middle of the park, even at 11 versus
11 we had the edge.

Nobody was surprised when wenger claimed, “I didn’t see it” when quizzed on eboo boy’s
sending off. Come on arsene, it was right in front of the dug out. If you can see
the disallowed goal incident from your Ferrari seat on the touchline why can’t you
see what’s going on righ in front of your eyes?

At least we killed off any lingering hopes the scummers had of mounting a title challenge.
If Modric could have converted that last minute chance it would have been a happier
day.

I was going to post highlights of the game for those who have trouble sleeping but
here’s Eboue being booed off by his own fans instead.

Enjoy, I know I did.
The scummers from down the road are in decent form not being beaten in 9 but they

We on the other hand have won one in the last five and that was against travel weary
Stoke. We haven’t registered a win against a*senal since agent George Graham was at

Still I think this time we’re going to turn them over. Robbie is bak and he is bound
to score. He loves to score against the south London interlopers notching in 5 of
his 15 appearances against them Also we actually have a defensive midfielder with
energy who can tackle in Palacios. Add to that we now have two good keepers and we

Harry To Make Diddy Pairing Work

Harry Redknapp sees no reason why new captain Robbie Keane and Jermain Defoe cannot form a lethal partnership for Tottenham second time around.

Probably because it didn’t work last time mate.

The little and slightly smaller pair have had plenty of opportunities to hit it off
as a pairing but it just didn’t happen.

A lot will depend on the we play. We’ve been going from back to front more directly
of late. This clearly won’t suit them as anyone who saw us when Robbo used to lump
the length of the pitch over the we ones heads.

But Harry hasn’t said anything about the way we’re going to play being the reason
Keane and Defoe will be dangerous together. Instead it comes down to, "I wanted them
both, I know them and they are good players - good players can always play together."

We wish it was true but if that was the case England would function perfectly with
fat Frank and badge kisser Gerrard in midfield. We all know how that one has gone.

Hopefully Redknapp is the man to make it work.

I for one am keeping them crossed.

He is little though.
The big news this year is the return of
a few of our old boys. The moves that made the biggest waves happened at either end
of the transfer window as a couple of goal machines have come back to their spiritual
home.

Defoe and Keane’s homecoming has notched plenty of column inches and split fans opinion.
The naysayers see the acquisitions as a backward move, the people for their return
think it won’t take as long for them to settle.

What can history teach us about those who return to Spurs?

First up is a man who stole our hearts, broke them then stole them all over again.
When Jurgen the German came back to us we were knee deep in a relegation battle. Sound
familiar? He went on to score 9 goals in 15 apps and was largely credited with keeping
us up in 1998.

Back in 2001 Spurs Hall Of Famer Edward Paul Sheringham came back to the Lane after
his four-year hiatus in Manchester. Teddy was one of Glen Hoddle’s and Daniel Levy’s
first signings. A crowd favourite if you will. Sound familiar? He came back to propel
us to our best Premier League finish at the time and a cup final scoring 22 goals
in two years to boot.

Looking at these examples it bodes well yeah? Well there are differences. Firstly
we didn’t buy Teddy and Jurgen at the same time. Secondly if we had it would have
been a good thing because of their proven partnership together in their first coming.
Keane and Defoe have not always faired so well in the same team.

If Jermaine and Robbie could have the same impact as either of these guys, this January’s
bit of business will be seen as a master stroke. If not…

Robbie’s back. Yup, somehow someway we’ve
signed Robbie Keane from Liverpool for £ 5million less than we sold him for.

For the Spurs squad this has to be good news. Keano is one of the players ‘Arry has

One question. What the Fratton is Jermaine Defoe going to think? The reason he left
us in the first place was because he was behind Keane in the pecking order. The reason
Keane left the scousers was because he hardly completed a game. Now history is bound
to repeat itself.

firing for us.

Close but no cigar. After staging a remarkable comeback we still bleeding lost.

We conceded two from set pieces which is a worry but most teams lose out to goals
like that against the trotters.

It was good to see Bendy notch, I doubt if Mrs Redknapp would have gobbled up those
chances, plus he’s still ahead of ‘Nando Torres in the goal scoring charts which makes
me piss myself.
Check out the goals below and pray we beat the scum next Sunday.
Easy, easy, easy. A blistering first half put paid to Stoke’s ambitions to record their first win on the road in the Premier league.

Our goals were quality especially the second which was the result of a slick passing
move. When we’re knocking it about like that it reminds you of how we can play. Despite
Stoke not being brilliant away they’ve held Liverpool so it was encouraging to see
how we carved them up in the first 45.

Bolton away next, hopefully we can keep it up. I doubt it we’re always dog shit up
there but let’s keep them crossed.

Anyhoo, here’s the goals from our magnificent win.
