I'm predicting Stewart Downing to leave the Riverside early next week after he has played his final game for Middlesbrough against Sunderland on Saturday.

It would be a terrible shame if Downing played rubbish and the Boro lost. SD would not get a good send off from the Boro fans. Pogatetz has already pleaded with Boro fans to go easy on Stewie this Saturday. I'm predicting a whole load of boos for the left winger. I will not be a part of the boo boys, but I will vent my frustration if he plays crap.

Stewart Downing owes it to the Boro fans to put in a good performance because the last time we played Sunderland, Downing missed a penalty that could have given us the lead at the Stadium of Light. He needs to put in a good performance for his own sake.

A good performance from him and he will get a good send off!
