Wigan to swap Marlon King for Middlesbrough's Mido. Wigan boss Steve Bruce has signed Mido in a swap for unhappy Marlon King. Bruce's long-term chase for Mido ended after Middlesbrough agreed to let him go, with fellow striker King going the other way. Both are loan deals with a view to a full-time move. King was back at Wigan following a fallout with Hull manager Phil Brown, where he had also been on loan.

The deal looks like it's nearly done. Southgate will be looking to King for added goals for the team. This is desperate times at the Riverside regarding games won and goals scored. We definitely need someone to add some power to the front line. Hopefully King can cause a few problems and score some goals!
