BORO have made an approach for Crystal Palace’s midfield grafter Ben Watson, according to London sources. The Evening Gazette understands that Boro are one of two Premier League clubs that have inquired about the 23-year-old, who is out of contract in the summer. Palace will take around £1m for the Londoner, pictured, considering he will be 24 in July and can leave Selhurst Park for nothing in the summer.

Gareth Southgate is keen to add to his midfield and id eyeing a move for talented Ben Watson. Our manager is desperate for a central midfielder that can score goals. Watson has already scored five times in 18 appearances this season.
