Southgate's On Thin Ice As Boro Slip

Gareth Southgate has one of the safest jobs in the top flight – courtesy of unwavering support from Middlesbrough supremo Steve Gibson. But for how much longer is anybody’s guess after this car-crash defeat to fellow struggler's West Brom left Boro without a win in 10 and in desperate relegation trouble.

Southgate will get a lot of this in the press within the next week. It is inevitable when you lose a must win game against fellow struggler's. Can it get any worse for the Boro manager? Yes, we can lose to Wolves next Saturday. I think he's packing his bags now as I speak.
