Manchester United eased past us on Saturday with two of the easiest goals you will have seen all season. Our defence was all over the place as Giggs struck the ball into the bottom of Jones's net.

United were in cruise control at the Riverside using the day out as a warm-up to their Champions League semi-final with Arsenal. United had two shots on target against us and scored both.

It just shows you that United are a team of real pedigree because they calved through a mediocre side in the league with a reserve team and then completely outplayed Arsenal in Europe last night with their best team.

Sir Alex Ferguson has got the ultimate team to his disposal, where as Southgate just has a team to his disposal.

Come On Boro!!

Lawro predicts Middlesbrough to lose against United tomorrow despite the current champions fielding an expectant weakened side against us tomorrow.

I hope he is wrong this week with his prediction. He can't get two scores right in a row can he? Last week he predicted we would lose 2-0 to Arsenal and he got it spot on!

Come On Boro!! We're going down.. deeper and down!

Middlesbrough were undone by two strikes from Cesc Fabregas on Sunday. Realistically we did not see a win on the cards for the Boro lads, but certainly a point would have achievable.

I would say there was couple of turning points in the game at the Emirates. The first coming from a former Arsenal player. Aliadiere had a great chance to make it 1-0 to Boro just before Fab got his first and the second turning point was a handball by Bendtner in the Boro box which was waved away only for Arsenal to go up the other end and score a second.

It was lucky that results went our way on Saturday afternoon. Hull lost to Liverpool and West Brom surprised us by beating Sunderland 3-0.

We're still in the fight and I'm sure we will try and give it a go against United on Saturday. Come on Boro!!

Boro had settle for a 0-0 draw against Fulham last Saturday. The draw meant that Boro are now three points behind Blackburn and Hull. Despite the lack of goals on Saturday we actually played good football and with respect to Fulham, they are a good solid side this season.

We still have it all to do, but I am confident we can get something at Arsenal and of course beat Man Utd at home in ten days!

The big man produced an awesome display against us on Saturday.

Boro Are Going Down!!

This was more than just an old-style Yorkshire derby, this was a crunch match that awarded the team that won a lifeline in survival. I would say we are in better shape to avoid relegation than teams above us in the league. The win on Saturday will take the pressure off our shoulders and will be firmly on the shoulders of Sunderland, Hull, Blackburn and Portsmouth. Newcastle got a vital point at Stoke, which will give them hope of a survival run.

Marlon King was outstanding on Saturday. He ran every ball down as if he was playing against a team that he had left on bad terms.. If only he had played for every team in the Premier League and not got on with the manager of each side, we would have the best striker in the league! He took his goal well late on into the match which ended Hull's hopes of getting back into the game.

A win was needed and we got it as a result of hard some hard work.

We have a chance now. We need to beat Fulham this Saturday to keep the dream alive.

Lawro predicts Boro to... win!!! Yes we have a pundit that is actually backing the Boro to beat Hull tomorrow. 2-1 as well, Mark thinks our goal shy team can score two vital goals to win the game.

Good Friday has just become a whole lot better.

Cheers Lawro!

This Saturday's game at the Riverside looks set to be a near full house as fans are quickly snapping up tickets after the club announced a deal for the bottom of the table clash. Season ticket holders will be able to get two tickets for £20 to get more bodies on seats this Saturday.

The players will surely react positively to the fans if we turn up and fill the stadium. We might just be able to help the lads on the picth by adding some noise.

Our defence was nothing short of invisible on Saturday as Bolton were handed four goals at this crucial stage of the season. The Boro defence was totally muscled out by Kevin Davies for 90 minutes. Not even the Berlin Wall could manage to keep 'Big Kev' at Bay.

The disappointing part from Saturdays game was the way we conceded the goals. They were all defensive mistakes coming from frail defending. We played well in patches and the best move of the game ended up in us scoring, but that was it for the sombre Boro fans in the away end.

If we defend like that again we can safely say we're down and out. Hull will be no pushovers this Saturday at the Riverside.

I'm going to say it after all the remaining games of the season. All eight games will get 'Boro Are Going Down' instead of Come On Boro!!

This is my way to help the team because something has to change after Steve Gibson said he is not going to change the manager.

Boro Are Going Down!!

p.s. I still love the Boro so no comments about my passion towards the club - this is merely a test of fate.
