Happy days...

Our box of Football Manager 2009 arrives...

Would you look at that, it's just beautiful isn't it? But if you can look past Production Editor Mark Brown's double-jointed thumb, you'll see that we've just this morning received the ten copies of the spanking new Football Manager 2009. We've played the game, (our own review copy, before the authorities start asking), and although we're clearly rubbish (played four, lost four as QPR manager), the game itself is awesome, bringing back memories of long nights and missed morning Uni lectures.

To win a copy for yourself, click here to enter the competition...

Please note, Mark Brown's thumb is not up for grabs...

With Phil Daniels Football Match Day Madness DVD...

You know it's Christmas when the next lot of football gaffes DVDs are being advertised. And this year is no different, with Phil Daniels' Football Match Day Madness released on December 1st. Yes, as in him from Quadrophenia, Eastenders and Blur's Parklife video.

And alongside the release, Phil wants to celebrate the best of football's amateur gaffes too, by laughing at clips of the funniest Sunday League moments (like above). So for your chance to win tickets for a Premier League game along with a tour of your choice stadium (in England) and a copy of the DVD, upload a clip of your best footballing gaffes here, and Phil Daniels himself will pick the winner. Runners-up will win a copy of the DVD.

We might not be able to play but at least we can take a good photo eh?

Catflap FC 3 - 0 Athletico GC

The new 5-a-side season started in style for Catflap FC last night, with a clean sheet and three goals in our opening Division 2 encounter against Athletico GC. We say encounter, but our opposition didn't turn up, leaving us stranded and alone on the pitch freezing our knackers off ala Scotland v Estonia in 1996. But we did have a ten minute kickabout between ourselves and we've woken up sore and bruised this morning anyway, so there's no question we earned the victory...

We're in third place already, bring on next week... when hopefully we'll get someone other than Rik Sellers to take the picture. Someone who is able to get the focus right, take more than one picture and not capture their own reflection in the back window. And we're told he has a degree in photography too...
