We prepare to do our good deed for the year...

Tom Selleck, Freddie Mercury, Charlie Chaplin, Mahatma Gandhi and Chris Kamara. That's a pretty illustrious list. To that we'll soon be able to add Catflap Assistant Ed Alexis James, as he grows a bit of face fuzz for Tacheback, raising funds for Male Cancer charity Everyman.

You may remember last year when he was beaten by Steve McClaren in the Great North Run. Well, this year he wasn't even able to register in time for that, and despite our best efforts to coax him in to running the New York Marathon, he's not sure he's ready to die at the age of 24. So growing a silly tache it is.

He's not alone though, Hull City manager Phil Brown and his goalkeeper Matt Duke are also taking part after Duke beat the disease earlier this year.
